enteliWEB and Kaizen

Description

enteliWEB and Kaizen can be used together to take a broader view of your systems.

Enable automatic login to Kaizen for enteliWEB

The Kaizen Viewer enables automatic login to Kaizen after you have logged into the enteliWEB server. Follow the steps below to configure your Kaizen automatic login from the enteliWEB configuration page.

Procedure:

The following steps detail how an automatic logic to Kaizen can be created for enteliWEB:

  1. Navigate to the enteliWEB Administration page (Gear menu).
  2. Click the Modules link under the Configuration section.
  3. In the Kaizen Viewer section, click Kaizen – Users.
  4. enteliWEB users are listed in a drop-down box on the left side of the page. Admin users will see all users, otherwise, you will only see the user you have logged in as.
  5. Select the enteliWEB user, then type in the Kaizen user email address, and their password in the fields on the right.
  6. Click the Save button.
  7. If you are the enteliWEB Admin, repeat steps 3 and 4 for each user you wish to map to a Kaizen account.

Export enteliWEB energy meters into Kaizen

The Kaizen Viewer provides a Wizard that will enable you to export the name, type, and mapped Trend Log from your enteliWEB Meters, into Kaizen within your Kaizen Building. Follow the steps below to export your enteliWEB energy meters into Kaizen.

Procedure

The following are the steps that be taken to export enteliWEB energy meters into Kaizen:

  1. Navigate to the enteliWEB Administration page (Gear menu).
  2. Click the Modules link under the Configuration section.
  3. In the Kaizen Viewer section, click Kaizen – Meter Export.
  4. Select the enteliWEB site from the dropdown on the left side of the screen.
  5. From the dropdown on the right, select the Kaizen building you wish that meter to be created in.
  6. On the next page of the Wizard, you can override the building you just selected for one or more meters.
  7. Click Next, and a summary of your selections will be displayed for you to review.
  8. Click Export Meters to copy your meter information into the Kaizen building(s) that you selected.

Receive and view insights using Kaizen Viewer

The Kaizen Viewer will update your enteliWEB Alarms tab with recent Kaizen Building Insights. Selecting an Insight will take you to that specific Insight on Kaizen’s Insight Log page. Follow the steps below to configure receiving and viewing of Kaizen Insights from the Alarms tab in enteliWEB.

Procedure

The following steps can be taken to receive and view insights using Kaizen Viewer:

  1. Navigate to the enteliWEB Administration page (Gear menu).
  2. Click the Modules link under the Configuration section.
  3. In the Kaizen Viewer section, click Kaizen – Settings.
  4. Select a Kaizen user with access to the buildings you wish everyone to see insights from.
  5. Enter the user’s username (e-mail) and their Kaizen password into the fields provided.
  6. Click the Get Key button to get the Kaizen User’s special key.
  7. Click Save Settings.

This key enables enteliWEB to be able to retrieve the Kaizen Insights for display in the Alarms tab. All the Insights for all buildings that this user has access to, will be displayed.
